Château Villenouvette wines are made from traditional grape varieties of Languedoc. The particular terroir of Château Villenouvette, gravelly, warm and very windy, produces robust and spicy wines that are great for cellaring.
The Cuvée Marcel Barsalou, was created in tribute to the grandfather of Jean-Yves and Éric Barsalou. From grapes harvested by hand, it is made by carbonic maceration before being aged for twelve months in Frecnch oak barrels.
The Orbion micro-cuvée (production limited to 3000 bottles per vintage) is produced through the selection of the best Carignans and Mourvèdres in the estate. It is aged for more than eighteen months in oak barrels.
